The next featured cycle tour takes you into the varied low mountain range, past beautiful heaths and romantic towns with cycle-friendly accommodation.
Leine-Heide Cycle Path
The starting point of the over 400 km long Leine-Heide Cycle Path is Eichsfeld in Thuringia. It leads past Germany’s most beautiful moorland regions and finally ends in the metropolis of Hamburg. Cities worth seeing and a varied landscape await you along the route.
Make a stopover in the university town of Goettingen, for example, which attracts visitors with its student flair and charming half-timbered houses. For your overnight stay, we recommend the Holiday Inn Express Goettingen, where you can safely store your bike in a lockable bike room.
The crowning glory of your cycling holiday is Hamburg with a colourful mix of culture, shopping, sightseeing and relaxation.
