The 144 rooms of the Holiday Inn Express Regensburg are now available for bookings in the quarter centre directly at the Kumpfmühler Bridge.
Visitors to Regensburg can look forward to a new overnight accommodation for their stay in the cathedral city. The Hotel Holiday Inn Express Regensburg in the Dörnbergforum is now open and looks forward to welcoming its first guests. Following the handover by the Dörnberg builders to the Success Hotel Group as tenant of approx. 6,000 square metres of space in the quarter centre, the 144 available rooms can now be booked. “The new Holiday Inn Express Hotel is an enrichment for Regensburg’s hotel landscape and the guests in the city, not least because of its outstanding location,” is the client Hubert Haupt, who develops and implements Das Dörnberg together with project partner Martin Bucher, convinced.
No matter whether business travellers or tourists: the hotel in a prime location offers optimal conditions for travellers of all kinds thanks to good access to the motorway as well as walking distance to the old town and the main railway station. Our guests will find everything they need every day with us and ultimately also expect from a hotel, such as free WLAN, and even more. After all, there is no breakfast at home everywhere,” says hotel director Sabine Danzl-Hauer of the Success Hotel Group. The guests would also particularly appreciate the coffee and tea station in the room, the open lobby and the bar, which is open around the clock. A special feature for families is that children up to the age of 17 stay free of charge in their parents’ room.
After the opening of the EDEKA store Ott & Fuchs, the Postbank and the Orthopädie Traumatologie Centrums Regensburg, the Dörnbergforum is already a busy hub. This is where the Holiday Inn Express Regensburg fits in perfectly and offers its guests everything they need for their daily needs in the immediate vicinity. The opening of the John Reed Fitness Music Club is planned for autumn. The Dörnbergforum will then combine an attractive mix of uses with commercial and retail space, fitness and catering facilities as well as medical care.
All office and practice areas in the quarter centre are already rented, currently there are only areas available for approx. 180 m² retail trade (divisible) and approx. 126 m² for gastronomy. The architectural office Allmann Sattler Wappner Munich is responsible for the design of the Dörnbergforum.
