From now on 144 rooms of the Holiday Inn Express Regensburg are available for bookings in the neighbourhood centre directly at the Kumpfmühler Bridge.
Visitors to Regensburg can look forward to a new accommodation option for their stay in the cathedral city. The hotel Holiday Inn Express Regensburg in the Dörnbergforum is now open and is looking forward to welcoming the first guests. Following the handover by the Dörnberg developers to the Success Hotel Group, as tenants of approx. 6,000 square metres of space in the neighbourhood centre, the 144 available rooms can now be booked. “The new Holiday Inn Express Hotel is an enrichment for Regensburg’s hotel landscape and the guests in the city, not least because of its outstanding location”. This is the conviction of client Hubert Haupt, who is developing and implementing Das Dörnberg together with project partner Martin Bucher.
Whether business travellers or tourists
The hotel in a prime location offers optimal conditions for travellers of all kinds thanks to its good connection to the motorway and walking distance to the old town and the main railway station: “Our guests will find everything they need every day and ultimately expect from a hotel, such as free WLAN. But not only that. After all, breakfast on the house is not available everywhere”, says hotel director Sabine Danzl-Hauer from the Success Hotel Group. The coffee and tea station in the room as well as the open lobby and round-the-clock bar would also be particularly popular with guests. A special feature for families is that children up to 17 years of age stay free of charge in their parents’ room.
Following the openings that have already taken place, including the EDEKA store Ott & Fuchs, Postbank and the Orthopädie Traumatologie Centrum Regensburg, the Dörnberg Forum is already a lively hub. Here, the Hotel Holiday Inn Express Regensburg fits in perfectly and offers its guests all the things they need for their daily needs in the immediate vicinity. The opening of the John Reed Fitness Music Club is still planned for autumn. The Dörnbergforum will then combine an attractive mix of uses with commercial and retail space, fitness and gastronomy facilities and medical care.
All office and practice space in the quarter centre has already been let. Currently, only space for approx. 180 m² of retail (divisible) and approx. 126 m² for a restaurant is still available. The architectural office Allmann Sattler Wappner Munich is responsible for the design of the Dörnberg Forum.
