From vast moorland landscapes in our last blog article on cycling tours in central and northern Germany, we return to the water and this time suggest an exciting bike-river experience with two bike-friendly hotels along the Weser.
Weser Cycle Path
The Weser Cycle Path is about 520 km long and is one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany. It runs from Hann. Muenden in the Weserbergland to Cuxhaven on the North Sea. Thanks to its almost entirely straight route, the Weser Cycle Path is also suitable for families and occasional cyclists.
From Hann. Muenden, you reach the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, famous for its Bremen Town Musicians, after about 350 km. Enjoy a coffee on the historic market square and listen to the carillon in Boettcherstraße. For a relaxing night, we suggest our Aparthotel Adagio Bremen or ibis budget Bremen City Center.
